PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT

POOJA SOPARKAR is the principal architect at Pooja Soparkar Architects, a multi-disciplinary studio based in Mumbai. Practicing for about nine years, Pooja has worked on architecture, interior design and scenography projects based in Shanghai, Mumbai and Pune. She started her career at Sanjay Puri Architects, Mumbai and went on to work for Kris Yao Artech, Shanghai, an internationally acclaimed Taiwanese architecture studio operating in Taipei and Shanghai. Pooja moved back to Mumbai in early 2018 to set up her own practice, with an aim of interpreting cultural nuances in contemporary forms.
